Thank you for all of your help with our recent purchase of the Touchstar IP PBX. It is a huge improvement for us over the two small Avaya’s that it replaced. We were able to add a few phones and new extensions this week to the PBX on our own using the interface. This was a real step forward from having to call our PBX vendor to do it for us for a fee. We were also able to have two of our employees swap offices without having to do any rewiring or programming. What a refreshing change!
Even though our three offices are all within the same city and we don’t pay LD to call between them, it is certainly nice to be able to dial a three-digit extension to reach any of my managers. One of the surprising things I liked about the system that we didn’t talk much about is the email notification of voicemails. Since I’m in and out of the office a lot, this has turned into a nice feature to have with the text messaging. The other advantage we gained with the system was the conferencing support so that our remote managers can meet on the conference bridge without having to pay an external provider.
